5月19日上午8:30,“第二届高阶数值方法发展与运用研讨会”在海韵园实验楼105报告厅拉开序幕。首先由此次会议支持人邱建贤教授在开幕式上致词,欢迎该领域的学者来到美丽的厦门参加此次研讨会,然后数学科学学副院长许传矩副院长讲话,再次对各位同仁的到来表示热烈欢迎,并且强调此次会议重要性,预祝会议圆满成功。开幕式结束后,为期三天的高阶数值方法研讨会正式开始。

在本次会议上,各位学者围绕DG这个大方向在各种微分方程实际运用展开了激烈的讨论,各抒己见,相互学习,促进了交流,使大家对高阶数值方法最新进展有了一个更加全面的认识,为高阶数值方法的进一步发展奠定了基础。此次研讨会于21日中午12:30圆满结束,取得了预期的成果。
